HTA approves 86 living organ donations in January 2025
In January, a total of 86 living organ donations were approved across all four nations.

Metropolitan Police Conference
Last week, the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) joined law enforcement experts and academics at a conference hosted by the Metropolitan Police - trafficking in persons for organ removal.
The event brought together international experts and leading medical professionals from across the UK and internationally to share their expertise in an important forum for collaboration.
HTA Chief Executive, Dr Colin Sullivan, who spoke at the conference, said:
