This update sets out the minimum standards expected from service providers responsible for the disposal of pregnancy remains, emphasising the importance of involving women in decision-making about sensitive handling procedures.

We will adopt a new approach to regulation from September 2024 when most on-site assessments of HTA post mortem licensed premises will be taking place without notice.
